Drag Race Year Round

For those of us in the S FL area "Moroso Motorsports Park" is open year round for Test N Tune and other events. Saturdays are the best cause they open at 4:30 and there is not a crowd till around 8pm. So anyone interested let me know im there every sat that its not rained out. Just shoot me a PM. Hope to see lots of VK56's out there. This is not only for us racers but for us that just like to watch as there are alot of cool rides screaming down the track. This is just plain clean fun for the whole family. If you think you want to go just shoot me a PM. Thank You MT.
Moderators if you want to make this a sticky or not thats ok, ill update the times and events every few weeks as rain plays a big part in their schedule.

I was just looking at the schedules they gave us and it looks like there will be Truck challenges on Sept 22nd which is in a week from this Saturday and also on October 6th which is a week before Old Town IV. You know I will be there just about every Saturday that we aren't taking out the quads.

OK thank you Stephen and Nathan. It seems their schedule is abit off so i may have to do this weekly for awhile. Today there is no test and tune as it says on their schedule.
Saturday 9/22 is test and tune.

Well all was not lost. I was able to get in a 1/4 mile run and a couple 0-60's on the way back home and got a free stamp.....lol

Yeah wasn't worth it, got 1 run and it was horrible, everyone was running bad. A guy in the pro class went over the wall and had to be trauma hawked out of there, then they finally decided to open the track again and one of the junior dragsters had a small mishap at the end of the track. Then after all that is started to rain so I just left...

Oh well next time.

o3younggun is the points leader and he was stock untill the last event. Just about being consistant and knowing what you run.

Last event was a double header. 2 Events 9AM to 11PM. We had burgers,Dogs,Drinks,Nice tent, etc.

Yeah... You get 2 qaulifing runs. To get your E.T figured out.

Then you run from there. Closest to there time wins.

Plus they are running the TNT you can jump over to that for free. Just to get some more runs in if you get eliminated.

1st and 2nd Place trophy's are givin.

The points leader was a bone stock "L" untill the last event and then he only has a 4lb lower,CAI and a canned tune.

Not about being the fastest. There are quite a few 11 sec "L" there. All about being good with the dial.

No worries you will love it, i guarantee it. Just come out and watch its only $13 and $20 to race, kids under 11 free!
Im very curious what my ET will be and this may be my last chance to find out before Christmas. I know there has to be a SC titan that wants in on this....

I got an email from Angie @Moroso and TnT is back. They will be back to Saturdays again pending special events. Which means some saturdays they wont have it so after OT i should have the updated schedule.

OK all, the schedule is changed. T&T is now Wed and Fri nights. No more saturday nights.

Heads UpMoroso was sold this summer and has new owners that renovated the Track etc... Its suppose to reopen Oct Nov ill keep us posted.
Looks like Speedworld will be my virgin run this fall since the header install.
