Who can do the 2* advance at OT????

last time tommy aka thrust titan was running arround like a chicken with its head cut off doing them after logging all teh dyno runs he was a verry busy man that day

No its not hard and its not time consuming at all, I will definitely have my laptop and cable with me so I can take some of the stress off of tommy though I have a few things on my plate already!

there s plenty of time ofr all that its all day sat man. i think it only took tommy 2 hrs to do about 30 trucks lol just a guess but i saw him in just about every truck there. he even hooked me up with a code scan to see why my truck had been falling on its face. even tho nothing was reading out of spec he still checked everythin possible to make sure my baby wasnt hurting.

Yeah it only takes about 2 minutes to hookup, connect and put in the advance once the truck is warmed up to operating temperature. UpRev/Osiris is a great thing.

I can definitely do it, though my beast of a laptop will need to be charged after an hour or so, would hate to have it go to sleep in the middle of talking to the ECU!

Yeah it is very easy with Cipher, atleast it is easy to tell what the current timing is, advanced is usually 16-17 depending on the base timing, plus it won't allow advancement any farther past 2*

One reminder for those who are going to have the advance done. If you know that the person doing the advance will be coming to your truck soon, go ahead and start it up. The truck must be warmed up to operating temperature before Cipher will allow the timing to be changed. This will make the process go much faster for and easier on the person doing the advance.

Seriously it isn't that hard, as DawgBone said it will make things much faster if someone could just organize the people who are getting it done and make sure they have the trucks warmed up, though thats not exactly hard here in FL.
