Air bag light flashing

My air bag light started flashing yesterday. Any ideas on what to look for? I only have 600 miles on the warranty and need to figure it out just do not have the time to get it to the dealer. HELP!!

If it is flashing then you need to make time to get it to the dealer. There is a problem & if you get into an wreck then the airbags might not deploy.

Thanks, I wil get it there. Should they be able to tell me why it came on all of the sudden?

There has been some kind of failure so hopefully it storred a code & give them a direction to start looking. This may not be an easy fix so I would not count on being able to wait on this.

You didn't pull off the radio bezel by chance did you?

No when I did the stereo install last year the battery was disconnected. Have not had any problems it just came on yesterday afternoon when I got in it to go home.

you can try the reset and then if it clears it could have just been a glitch in the control module..the reset guide is in the audio section...but if it comes back on or never clears then i would take it in....

I only have about 600 miles left under warranty so I am just going to take it in. But thanks for the advise.

Alright I know NascarJody is going to give me crap over this but I deserve it. The light was flashing because I did not make the time to get it to the dealer for the recall on the wire coverings on the back doors and they had to replace the harness on the passenger side. That is what caused the the light. Go ahead NJ give it to me. lol.

lol Now that is pretty dang good of Nissan!!! They know of a recall that has not been fixed and they find a way to get you in........... Thats pretty cool!!
