The day they announced Majors was fired here at UT........... there were three boosters that went to Uhaul and rented trucks......... then they took those trucks and parked them infront of his house with the back doors open so he could load his stuff up...........lol now that is cold!!

If we do not make it to the SEC Champ game this year (with no major injuries to key players) fulmer is gone. He didnt get a raise this past year for the first time since he has been the head coach. Rumor has it the AD told him if he doesn't turn it around, it will not be good. If we beat UF, UGA, and Bama then he will stay because we will be going to the champ game, but it not the rental trucks will be warmed up!!!

IMHO I would think a warm seat! Hot seat next year Maybe. Tenessee loss would create the warmth....Florida is gonna be hard for anyone to beat so I don't think it will be held against any team to lose to UF!

Dawg, Did you ever see the movie "Facing the Giants?" If I'm not mistaken it was loosely based on Richt's football life in High School. He makes a Cameo appearance in it if I'm not mistaken. Great Movie about living your faith!!

From the FSU insiders that I know..they say he likes and loves his kids too much. He will get in their face behind closed doors, but not in public and before the media.

Ever see the movie Marshall. Bobby was with West Virginia back then and when asked by Marshall he let them into his film room to study his offensive film and plays because he was the only team that was running the (I forget wing or veer) offense that would fit an undersized and immature team like marshall had after the crash. And they were in the same conference as Marshall.

You have a right to your opinion. However, you need to look at your own program as well. Spurrier may publicly discipline his guys at UF or USC but that still doesn't change the fact that they did something wrong.

FSU isn't a perfect school eventhough the other teams in Florida like to look up to us as it should be.

Just admit that you know we are the better school(Note that I did not say team) and all will be good in the state of Florida.

Now I'm going to go drink my purple Kool-Aid. LOL

You have a right to your opinion. However, you need to look at your own program as well. Spurrier may publicly discipline his guys at UF or USC but that still doesn't change the fact that they did something wrong.

FSU isn't a perfect school eventhough the other teams in Florida like to look up to us as it should be.

Just admit that you know we are the better school(Note that I did not say team) and all will be good in the state of Florida.

Now I'm going to go drink my purple Kool-Aid. LOL

Bowden and Richt are my 2 favorite coaches as far as taking a loss with class and just being great, all around men in the same mold of Tony Dungy.
You're right about that. I've been really impressed about Richt as a person, and he gives Bobby B a lot of credit for being that way. This off season while other coaches were at the beach or on the golf course he took his family on a mission trip to Honduras.




Dawg, Did you ever see the movie "Facing the Giants?" If I'm not mistaken it was loosely based on Richt's football life in High School. He makes a Cameo appearance in it if I'm not mistaken. Great Movie about living your faith!!


they actually showed us that movie one sunday evening at church. if that movie dosnt get to you then something is wrong with you. they should show it to all the highschool football teams around here.

just goes to show you a movie can be made that has meaning and a good story line to it and be G rated.

My bad on the Facing the Giants movie being about Richt. Though he did make a cameo in the movie it was about another high school Coach. Still, a great movie!
