What do the coaches know anyways?! Spurrier probably voted for Duke again.

most of the coaches send in their votes before the last games are even played according to ESPN
DawgBone

Also notice the continued absence of Miami (who still got less votes than Michigan)...

We should bump up a bit after the TCU game they are ranked 19th according to USA today. That game actually scares me a lot. They have the longest active win streak against the big 12 along with OU. Looks like a trap game to me.

You might not. Here are the teams above Texas and their opponents:
USC at Nebraska
LSU vs. Virginia Tech
Florida vs. Troy
W. Virginia at Marshall
Wisconsin at UNLV
Oklahoma vs. Miami
Not sure that any of these teams will lose this week. Texas won't advance just by beating TCU. Gotta have a little help. The higher up in the polls you get the more difficult it is to advance.

laugh..i know you all will after reading this but troy is a dangerous veteran team on offense...they will score some on us for sure.....

I don't think their offense is struggling as much as they just went out not prepared. Kind of like Michigan they thought they would walk all over them and were over confident.
And they will advance, Dawg. Cause I said so, lol.

Michigan's drop was the biggest in NCAA history I believe. No one's fallen 19 spots after a loss. Before this I think ND had the biggest back in 95.
My two teams combined drop after first game = 35 spots..
With that said, I still believe that UM can pull out with a good record this season. This is a reason for us to bounce back but Carr still must go. The Clemson game really showed that FSU picked up 5 new coaches, the first half looked like they were running drills for the first time out there. *sigh* not much I can say. I just gotta suck it up or else I'm gonna go into a depression. Lock myself in my bedroom with no light until saturday night football.

until saturday night football.
Absolutely true. Win or lose you can ALWAYS look forward to Saturday!
4 days 55 min until Dawgs vs. Chickens!

The Carolina game always scares me, and this year could be REALLY tough if Blake Mitchell gets it together. Their D line is also going to be tough to defend against.

Isn't all this poll and ranking talk cute. The purpose of these rankings is to see who plays for the Title and it won't be Georgia or Florida. So at the end of the season Miami, Ga., and Florida will all be watching the big game at a sports bar!
But I understand that UGA fans are satisfied with just being ranked and I am happy for you guys! Someone has to settle for good, it allows those of us that seek greatness to excel!!!!!!

Clemson has a few things to work out, but they certainly have the talent. Unfortunately so does G.T...

GT and VT, if they can run the ball like they did last night and keep the defense tight they could run the table.

and yes....that man will win the mighty big ten this season.....great coaching in the big ten....jim tressal goes for it on 4th and 4 at his own 25 yardline in the 2nd quarter of a national championship game...we all know the end results of that brilliant move....and the second best big ten team loses in a defensive clinic game 48 to 45 and still has the nerve to say they should get a rematch even though they dont even play a conference championship game like the real best conference(sec)and then come out to start the new season with vetern leadership on offense and lay a coaching gem egg on opening day......like i said the big ten will be won by ron zook.......very sad but true........lol
