Every experience I have had with the judder.........as soon as you tell the service manager about the judder they dont even test drive it. I think the judder is so common they just plan on having to fix it.

I was going to say the same thing. I hardly think they'll argue with you.

If you feel it.......take it in and get a new break system

How long ago was the first fix? I know you said 12,000 miles ago, but what kind of a time frame went by? What did they do (turn rotors, replace them etc.)?

Being intermittent is actually deceiving and I will explain why. Judder happens because the pads and rotors are not worn together and there are high and low spots...warped places on either/or. When warpage very first starts, it is possible to be felt under certain circumstances only. Example, at higher speeds...at almost idle speeds...getting off an exit ramp...light braking...etc.. So the problem is there, it just is not happening under all conditions yet since it has not gotten too severe.

Judging by the miles on your vehicle, you don't drive much at all which slows the onset of the problem down.

I saw it. LOL That is one thing I have already learned about this forum and it is easy to do it accidentally.

With it being a 16 months ago, they actually aren't entitled to do anything any longer due to the latest TSB on the brakes allowing one fix and that is all. But if you are firm in a polite way, you may get it. But don't be hateful and get loud, that never solves anything. You can get more done being pleasant. I am always willing to help someone that is nice, but the hateful one's get put on the back burner. LOL
