The State of Florida rankings

For all you guys that do not believe that the National Cahmpionship has gone through and stil goes through the state of Florida, check this out:

Miami, Florida State and Florida have taken turns ruling the state over the last quarter-century. Here's a look at the final Associated Press rankings for each team every year since Miami won the first national title of any Sunshine State school in 1983:

While I hate to see UF have that higher ranking, it says something about all 3 programs. The past is about to repeat itself with all 3 schools fighting for the National Tital and all fo the those OTHER teams are going to fade into the background.

Seriously, how many of us 30-50 year olds(no offense intended to the younger crowd) even thought of USC or West Virginia or Texas as contenders?

They were always there playing in the Rose Bowl or the Gator Bowl or some other mid level bowl.

But you always had a Florida school playing in a National Title game up until the past 3 years.

Mark my words, the time is coming and the

mighty Gators

will be leading the charge.

Nice, gt! It's true the state of Florida is always in the picture somehow, but I honestly think that it's going to take the old man handing things over to Mickey or someone else before FSU will get back to the top of the ACC.

MG, you are correct. Death Valley will be rocking and I will be there to experience it. I haven't missed a Bowden Bowl since the 1st game.

It's going to be fun but I think our defense is going to be strong enough to hold them and our offense is going to be improved enough to score some points.
