Who's your favorite college football player from the past?

To piggyback on the same topic in the Pro forum, which football player did you enjoy watching the most from your college?

I could put up a really long list here, but I'll pick a couple from when I was at UGA since that was when I got to see the most games in person.

First would be Garrison Hearst. That guy could run the ball as good as any player I've ever seen! I said it in another thread and I'll say it again: The curse of being on the cover of the 1st Madden game was the death of his career.

Second has to be Mr "I can play every position" Hines Ward. He could play all over the field and was truely amazing to watch!

I'd have to go with Vince Young, Ricky Williams, Roy Williams.

Also, Ladanian Tomlinson. I know that's not a Texas guy but, TCU is about 15 minutes from me and I got to see him play 4 or 5 times. Something very special.

I have to come clean guys....I hate the Bulldogs and secretly love the Gators! As a matter of fact...I hate Ugga too! Ugliest stinking mascot in college sports! I would be run out of Georgia if any one knew this but I am just tired of living in the closest. Anyone who knows football knows the Gators are the best team in the country and in no way can UG ever hang with them! It's just been expected from me to support this stupid school and this stupid team since I live in this stupid state.

I just can not do this any longer!! I have to get out of Georgia and move to Florida....I don't want my kids to have to marry their cousins! The family inbreeding has to stop NOW!

As of Today, I want to publically disavow any of my former allegiances with the University of Georgia and wholeheartedly proclaim my eternal devotion to the UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA and the MIGHTY GATORS!

You know, it feels so gooooooooooood to finally be able to express my true feelings about my love for the Gators! I feel free! I want to paint my body Orange and Blue and run through the Hedges proclaiming my devotion and love for the Gators! Oh, the bliss of finally being affiliated with a true WINNER! I love you guys and want to thank you for putting up with my whiney, stupid, frustrated posts about the UG Bulldogs. I have seen the light and have crossed over from the evil and "dark side" of the Bulldogs to the good and "all that is right" Gator program.

That guy could jump and touch the top of the backboard on a 10 foot rim!!! He was great here and did very good at Dallas beside of Irvin. He did make Irvin mad a couple times in Dallas when he wouldn't catch the crack pipe before it fell to the floor though.
