Thanks for the link! Interesting how Fox has USF at 32 and FSU at 38.
But they also have the Gators at 13 with Miami ranked at 12. LOLOLOLOL!!

I must have completely missed something. I saw OU on the cover a magazine earlier this week talking about going for #1. Where did this come from? I must have missed the memo that they were so great. Then I look at these polls and they are ranked one above UT! The polls are garbage. (Unless UT is #1 ;) ) I can't wait 'til the red river shootout!

Polls are poop! Should not have the polls out until 3-4 games have been played for a more accurate ranking system. And then institute a true playoff system with the major bowls rotating every year to insure they all get the Championship equally as they do now. But let's admit that they do get us talking early and generate the interest that boosts TV ratings, watercooler discussions, etc.

Totally agree, swamp. Polls don't mean squat until some quality games have been played. Sorry, dodson. I guess that would mean Texas wouldn't be in the first poll ;D

two of the bigger 1st week matchups are clemson vs fla state at clemson....and of course tennessee at cal...i predict the home team wins both matchups...but that is some good opening week football......i am excited about auburn vs usf in the 2nd week...if auburn doesnt bring it to jordan air stadium they will take a huge home loss against a very dangerous well coached bulls team.......

Tennessee is ranked to high I think. I wish they were not even in the top 25. They have now lost their starting RB due to him being a complete idiot!! Foster is going to play with a huge chip on his shoulder because he has always thought he should be the starter! Ainge is going to have to work the young WR early to get them into the game.
I think out biggest problem is going to be on the D side. Cal doesn't run an offense like anyone we play so there will be a lot of watching film, but film doesn't get you ready for game speed!
When we beat Cal ESPN will start talking about how Cal was over rated.......wait and see. ESPN hates UT.

yeah but not for Cal
Though he will be back, Coker will not make the trip to California for the Tennessee's season opener Sept. 1, but could make the home opener the following week.

I hope we show up to play. I think we can beat them, but we got to show up. They team isn't leaving until Thursday evening........ that doesn't give a lot of time to get adjusted.
