I had code 455 come up 2x and I reset it. I got the SB for the EVAP for the filter kit. I asked my dealer, they said I was out of warrenty (44K). they want $125 for the filter kit. what a joke. I was ondering if I could go "old school" on this emissions part and just remove it/ bypass it.

I would not bypass it. But on the other hand, check your warranty manual on emissions related items...I think that they are required to be at least 50k miles.

I think that this would be a real good question for our parts guru and sponsor Bodean.

More added.

P0031 - Front a/f ratio sensor monitoring problem. Usually in conjunction with rear O2 sensor prob.
P0051 - Same as above bank 2
P0037 - Usually comes on with the above codes, low voltage in rear.
P0057 - Bank 2 same as above.
P1148 - Truck won't go into closed loop mode. This is typically due to blown O2 sensor fuse OR the above codes.
P1168 - Same as above bank 2
