Clunk in the front of the truck

If you have a clunk when you first take off after starting your truck it is normal. At about 12 mph, the ABS system does a self check that resembles a clunk that is quite loud. Especially on the 04-06's. The 07's and up are not quite as prominent, but they do still clunk.

If this clunk continues from teh front of the truck after this ONE INITIAL time, take it to your dealer. You may have a little more serious problem.

If you have a level kit then make sure all th bolts on the top of the strut are still tight. also there have been some reports of sway bar links going bad.
