Depends on what it is.
If you hear a whining from the front of the motor, it could be the water pump.
If it is a squalling, then it is probably a worn serpentine belt.
If it is a tapping or ticking noise, it could be the timing chain. But DO NOT confuse this with injector ticking. The later model titans have gotten better about this, but the earlier model titans had loud injector ticking. It is actully more loud once you realize the sound is there.
Creaking is the idler pulley.
All of these qualify for a trip to the dealer.
