If you are having trouble with your titan, first check to see if it is covered under a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin). That way you will know what you are talking about when you go into your dealership.

here is the link. Go to Inside Publications, then scroll down to Nissan TSB's, then scroll down to Titan...

if it is a problem that has a tsb on it will the dealer repair it without cost even after warranty has run out? that is a neat site to look at..not a lot of tsb on 07s..

All tSB's will ONLY be covered under the original 3 year/36,000 mile warranty EXCEPT for powertrain related TSB's. Powertrain related TSB's will be covered under the 5 yr/60,000 mile warranty.

So don't expect to get a squeaky seat fixed for free with 59,000 miles on it. LOL

Poop, hehe.

Everytime I go to the dealer, the Service Advisor automatically checks for TSBs under my VIN #.

what if you have the 75k extended warranty?

Depending on the item, they will call the extended warranty and confirm the payment, they did that with my rear-end. It only added a day to the wait and they didn't complain at all.

If you have an extended warranty, everything that is covered under that 75k warranty will be covered if a TSB arises. But if the warranty on a part ran out at 3 yr/36k, then it will not be covered under the 75k warranty.

Depending on the repair, things could get confusion rather quickly... huh :-\

Yep, very quickly. There are many parts that fall ONLY under the 3 yr/36k warranty even though the end user purchased an extended warranty.

Basicly what shailey is trying to say is the engine , trans & rear end are covered under powertrain. Everything else is under basic warranty. There are VERY few bullitens that extend the warranty period. example brake judder bulliten. that one extendes the brake warranty from 12months to 12000 miles to 3 yrs unlimited miles. A bulliten is there to help the tech repair a certian problem in a timely manner. If you have a question about a certian bulliten then feel free to send me a pm & I will try to answer your question.

i was just reading about the TSB NTB05097 which discusses new 'cam bolts' needed for front end alignment....i don't yet have an alignment problem, but would like to add a level/lift or spindle lift later on...should i go to a dealer and complain about poor alignment to get new bolts or something?

You do not need it, you will be able to be aligned.
