First of all, check your brake fluid. If it is low, then you have more than likely found your problem. If that is not it, immediately take it in to your dealer.

These two coming on together can also be a sign of the truck going into "Limp" mode. This means the engine is overheating. First try pulling over and letting the truck sit for a few minutes.

Check All Your Fuses.

My ABS light was on the code said it was the "hermonic balancer" (sp).

I found 3 blow fuses. dash power point, tow mode, and cruise control.
Nothing really related but the ABS light went out and has been out for 2 months. Go figure?

If your brake fluid is low then check the brakes. They are probably worn out. Remember brake fluid does not just evaporate.

My 04 had a similar issue where the brake, ABS, and Slip light would come on after about 40mins of driving at highway speeds. It would reset by turning the truck off then back on. I finally had it happen and was able to get into the dealership. The mechanic felt it was a grounding issue and fixed some grounds under the dash around the brake pedal (not sure exactly what he did) but never had it happen during the next month before I sold it.
