Maybe Pat from Adams products will chip in....You may want to post a link to this thread in the ADAMS forum as well...

I had the same problem once.
My solution:
1. Take chunks off with an old credit card edge sprayed with clay bar solution (be careful not to scratch your paint)
2. Use clay bar and solution to get the fine layer left behind
3. Use a scratch remover/wax to hide fine scratches and protect the paint.
It seemed to do well for me, but let me tell you it was not fun. There was quite a bit of elbow grease involved and lots of fowl language being used.
Good luck!

I had some on my truck from parking under a tree that had some broken branches thanks to Ike and I used some of that Turtle Wax Bug and Tar remover and it worked geat. You just have to spay it on and let it sit for about a minute then wipe it off. It took everything off mine.

whatever i end up doing i plan on waxing it after. i do believe that the bug and tar remover takes the wax off when you use it. just to let you know.
