Well the lawn crew at work decided my truck needed a little detailing. I personally didn't care for it. ;D Needless to say when I found them at my next office two of them nearly had to climb fences as I came in the drive blowing my horn.

I would have pulled in the parking lot with a bucket, soap, sponge, and a hose for them!

I was actually seeing to much red and shaking to try and convey my anger to them without losing my job. Yes they are going to pay for the exterior detail and then if I find any damage from sand/rocks hitting the truck they will file a claim.
There really isn't any way to talk to them since none of them on the crew can speak any English. I tried a couple months ago when At&t decided all our lots with gates needed to be closed at all times and locked when not there.

wow i'd be livid, hope everything is ok with it. today i put a smoke out in the road at my buddy's place and on the walk up the stairs some hippy chick picked it up and put it on the hood of my truck. who does that? when she came back from her walk i hit the alarm button and i think she did in her pants what she took the dog to do. she wasn't home when i came down the stairs or it would be hard to not to rip into her.

This has happened to me before too, also by a non-english speaking crew. They had to call a foreman before they understook why I was mad...

Man that is so wrong. there are times where I might have gotton a little dust or something on someones vehicle but I always use my leaf blower on it . If I did someone that bad I would have left a five dollar bill with a note saying sorry.
that just plain sucks. thats what gives lawncare company's a bad name.

Is that picture where you park? You park in the grass? I mean, it's not cool that they did that to your truck, but if I parked on top of an anthill, I wouldn't expect the ants to stay off my truck....
I do feel for you though... We've had several people in my neighborhood complain about this from our lawn contractor. He's just lucky my truck wasn't there when they did it.... not after what I shelled out for the new paintjob....

This used to happen a lot in the office park back when I still had to go to the office everyday. The 'drones' these big comercial lawn places hire just plain don't give a hoot.
At least they consistantly came on the same day every week & I would make sure I was not parked near the lawn that day.

Hey man, I really feel for you. Hope nothing is damage. At least this doesn't seem intentional. Just laziness and an uncaring attitude.. I've had my truck vandalized and it's a horrible feeling. Hoping for the best?

Nice tires! LOL
The bad thing is, that is what my truck looks like after I do my own lawn. BUT, they should have at least blown it off (even I do that to mine).

Being in the lawn care business I can tell you that a majority of the "mowers" out there don't care. And you are correct, most of them don't even speak english. There are a few around here that share my values, but not many, and like Jestep said, it gives all of us a bad rap. I abide by 2 simple principles; 1) treat everyones property as if it were your own, and 2) if you're not an American with a good amount of common sense then you don't work for me. This is why 95% of my new clients come from word of mouth referrals. It is usually impossible to not create any dust or the occasional stray clippings, but also like Jestep, I always make sure the vehicles are blown off, wether they were clean to begin with or not.
man I feel you...
I would also be ****ed specially since you had the new wheels
What brand is that grille and the price it looks real nice ?

Grille is a Street Scene speed grille from Stillen.
I met with the boss from the service contractor and the lawn crew company. Both guys were nice and loved the truck. They apologized and said the crew had been talked to. They gave me cash for the cleaning. I shouldn't have any more issues with them.

Yeah, it sucks when stuff like that happens. I'm one picky SOB when it comes to my truck too. I work at a place with a big parking lot so, I've selected a spot that is far away from trees, grass, and other landscape so when the maintenance people come, they do their thing away from my truck. Plus, my spot is far enough back that no else parks near me either.
