Hey Bud,

I need to order some stuff for the truck and the bike...

I am looking for a soap or water purification system that will prevent spots if I don't get to it immediately...As we all know, during the summer it can be impossible to dry all parts of the truck before the sun beats you to it...

Also, I am looking for a soap or detailing spray that works well on flat black paints...I'm worried that anything streaky or spotty would quickly take away from the paint job on my bike.

If you have any recommendations on spray nozzles (with the soap gun built in) or soaps or anything else I would GREATLY appreciate it...Thanks man!

I use the Mr. Clean system, and it works pretty well. I'd love to hear from patrick if there are any other better products out there though, as I'd much rather go with a site sponsor than AutoZone or Walmart haha.

I LOVE Adam's products...If they have something that will work with a flat black paint then I will be buying it for sure...

Like I said, my problem is the flat black paint on the bike...I'm just really worried that something will mess with the paint and make it spotty or fade. That's why I want some sort of water purification system or de-ionization system.

I tried the Mr. Clean thing too, but didn't care for their soap. I do use it to rinse the truck, which helps minimize spotting (we are on well water here). Still dry it with one of those Absorb things + microfiber towels.

BTW - the MR. Clean system does work GREAT for window washing on the house. Wet, spray the soap, wash with a brush on a pole, then rinse & let dry. No streaks or spots & the windows stay good for quite a while.

Wonder what those portable spot free wash systems the dealers use cost - prob. insane expensive !!

from the looks of it you have the same problem I have with the bike. the flat black is hard to clean up and not streak or spot.

I cant wait to see adam's response to this!!

Yeah, the one complaint I would have about the system is the soap. It does not get very sudsy at all. I read somehwhere you can use any type of spot-free rinse soap in it though. So, again, if patrick or anyone has some good recommendations out there, I'm all ears.

I use the MR. Clean system also, but I use the maguires soap. The spot free rinse is a life saver in the heat when drying off the bike or truck.

I can tell you guys the Adam's carwash soap is very sudsy which is key to any kind of washing. It's also PH balanced which kind of takes away the need for a water system.

Give me a couple hours to hear back from Adam and I will post up some stuff on your questions.

Patrick@Adams

Ok guys..

The car wash soap and detail spray.

After you rinse the soap off, hit the entire truck with the Detail Spray. For the Bike it's the same thing but obviously being carefull after how u hose down the bike.

In the Adam's video under washing it shows you this. You can view these video's on the website free of charge.

Here's a really stupid question but do you rinse the bike, then spray the detail spray, then rinse again and dry? Or rinse, spray, then dry?

Like I said, I know it's a stupid question...but just curious. I'll go watch those videos now haha.

rinse, soap, rinse, detail spray, dry

You use the detail AFTER the soaped rinse for two reasons. ONE to help prevent the occasional water spotting AND it saves yourself from using the detail spray AFTER you dry the vehicle.

Kinda knock 2 birds with one stone
