Aw man, you were only about an hour from me and on the 30th, I was less than 15 minutes from you.
That is a cool place up there and I like the golf course as well.

it really was a great time...i thought of alerting some of you TN and GA boys, but it was crazy busy before/during/ and after the trip between the planning of that trip, packing in a weeks worth of camping into 3 days, and all the while preparing to relocate my family to AR...on a side note today is the 1st day for my wife's new job; and i now begin the hopefully very temporary period of living alone with my 2 sons waiting to sell this house and join her

i think we were on the road home on the 30th @ around 6:00 am in order to get the trailer back to St.Louis before the dealership closed.....no golfing for anyone of us this trip though, but it did look like an amazing course....we stuck to: softball, hiking, basketball, swimming, fall jumping [yes 4 of the 9 of us actually did the shwarzenneggar/predator 86ft crazy jump{no not me}], grilling, poker, biking, titan/lawnchair cruising, football, poker, risk, lie-telling, etc., etc., etc.

it really was...one funny story: when my 2 friends and brother went into that crevice on post #7, i convinced Dillan {age 13} to spray down the wall they would have brush back through to get out...needless to say he whipped out his wand and totally painted the whole entrance, which cost him a half hour that night being tied to a tree in the dark...i hadn't laughed that hard in a long time

Man, Doug, that looked pretty fun! What part of TN is that in? Out east? Sorry, I guess I'm still a newb when it comes to sites in TN. You'd think after about ayear I'd know some haha. Well, I do have Memphis fairly well figured out. I need to get some people together and go camping.

fall creek falls is between nashville and knoxville in east TN...i didn't really venture that far east when i lived in Memphis either....it is a great park; i could be somewhat mistaken as i am mostly going by what my brother told me: this park contains the highest water fall in the USA, and the longest suspension bridge....i was also told that the following movies were at least partially filmed there: Predator, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Jungle Book, Jumanji

Cool. Most of the people I know here in memphis go camping in Sargus, MS (sp?) I think it's an hour or two south of here. I definately need to get out to East TN though. It looks like there's a ton of nice places out that way.

That is a really nice area. Went there a few years ago while visiting my Mom, she's in White county. Lot's of cool places to go around there. And go figure, she was born & raised on Long Island, but waits until she moved to TN (a land locked state!) to buy a boat!! When we are down there we spend alot of time out on Center Hill Lake.
