Have any of you ever experienced the paint on the bumper (on the corners) peeling? The paint is bubleing up and peeling off. Is this a problem that Nissan has recognized? I can understand if it was just where rocks hit it but this is bubbles under the paint that are peeling off.....

That kind of sounds like a chemical reaction Shannon. I haven't ever seen the paint bubble. I have sen lots of rock chips but never a bubble. The only thing you can really do is if you are under warrenty (36k) check with a local dealer who has a body shop. They will take photos and submit them.

nope, out of the 36K..... Yeah I will try to get some pics of it. How much does it cost to have those ends painted?

unfortunatly since you are outside the 3/36 the only way is if they are willing to goodwill it. But paint inspections has to approve it first. I know how I would handle it at my dealership but not all dealerships handle things the same way.

Its just going to have to wait for now. I may call and ask them if I bring them to them how much would they charge.....

I just bought some new paint brushes, you have the paint?? lol.

Be careful, it maybe a good idea to replace the end caps(Just to be safe) depending on what contaminate caused the paint to bubble. If you don't get the piece totally clean, that contaminate will bubble the new paint.

Jeff had a thread a week or so ago where he was selling off a pair pretty cheaply !
