First off, what type of camper are you looking for? A pop up? A travel trailer? A 5th wheel?
I used to have a Damon CampLight pop camper with dual slide outs. I recent upgraded to a 30 ft travel trailer (StarCraft 2700BH). If you check out Starcraft RV - Recreation Vehicles: Folding Camping Trailers, Travel Trailers, Fifth Wheels, Truck Campers and Lightweight Towables (http://www.starcraftrv.com), you will get a better idea. BTW, I would suggest that you go to a Camper/ RV show. This way, you get to see multiple types of campers and you will get an awesome price.
My travel trailer had an MSRP of about $17,500. However, at a Camper/ RV show, I was able to negotiate a price of $11,500, they gave me $4,500 for my old pop-up as a trade in and I received 0% financing for 60 months!!!!
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me.

What Cujo said^^^^^^
It took us 25 years to finally get a camper(popup), we have had it 3 years now and already want to upgrade to a hardbody but with fuel prices we will wait and see.
Also maybe look at some used ones, there are great deals if you look and be patience. We bought ours used they slept in it one night and decided it wasnt for them. It just happen to be exactally what we were looking for at the time.
Hope that helps, keep us posted.

I really need it for hunting season. It will get used every weekend for 5-6 months for SURE during hunting season. BUT, Im having trouble justifying the cost for the other 6-7 months lol. Not sure how often I will use it durning the "Off" season.

i'm renting one of these in a few weeks for a long weekend...i am not an experienced camper, but might take it up [raising 2 boys and all]...i figured that i'd rent a few different types and see what i like and how much/ if i'd use it enough to justify purchasing over renting....anyway, if you want a review on a 24' traveltrailer, i think i'm camping june 27-30

we went from tent camping to a pop-up camper and we love it. We camped this past week in it at one of our state parks here in tennessee now we cant wait to go again.
