Just though we should have somewhere people could make some requests for the new and improved site.

First off I LOVE HAVING THE SB BACK!!!!! Thanks guys.

How about a "Home" (main page) button and an "active topics" button in the toolbar and then put another toolbar on the bottom of the page

The easiest way to get to the "home" page of the forums, is to click on the logo at the top of the screen. It will take you right there.

As for the "Active Topics" link, I have added to the navbar, but I am not sure that it will be staying. The reason is simply because that link already exists in the "Quick Links" menu which is on the navbar.

As far as the menu being at the bottom of the screen, I don't think I fully understand what people want or expect out of that menu...

I like the "Active Topics" link on the main navbar. I use it after just about every post I read, to see new replies posted while I was reading. I use it so much, I can see myself getting annoyed by having to use it from the "Quick Links" drop down menu.

I think what people want as far as the menu being at the bottom of the page is that when you read a thread, you typically end up at the bottom of the page when you are done. So, I think people want the navbar at the bottom of each page also, so that you don't have to scroll all the way to the top of the page to use it. I've read somewhere that even the act of having to hit the "home" key to scroll up is annoying, and they would just rather the link be there at the bottom too.

The only real thing I'd like is different colors/skins. Right now I keep forgetting what site I'm on (it's pretty much identical to another forum).

Check that... I found the new black skin. Nice! Still needs some work though... There's a lot that is still blue and looks kinda funny, but hey... It makes the site feel different and that's all I really need!

The new site is getting better everyday. I second what Memphis said. I use the "Active Topics" button almost exclusively. I don't really mind scrolling up to the nav bar, but have to admit having a repeat of it at the bottom of the page could be handy. I like the new dark option for the skin. It is a little easier on the eyes. Mostly I wanted to say thanks for all the stuff you guys have done already to make the site better. I am sure it wasn't easy and it is appreciated.

Since it seems as though more people use it than I though, I will leave it, but most of the people I had spoken with use the "New Posts" link.

At the bottom of every page, there is a "Top" link, that takes you right to the top. Test that out and let me know what you think. The problem with just putting the navbar at the bottom, is that it doesn't exactly fit there in the themes and the layout would have to be adjusted slightly from the little bit of playing I have done with that.

It is still a work in progress, but I am mostly done with it, so I opened it up for everybody to use. If you have any comments about it, let me know. Feel free to send me screenshots with comments as those will be most useful.
