hey anyone ever thought of having a seperate chat like mirc based or something like that? i few of the z boards im a member of have them so it dosent kill the server and we have a chat. for those that dont want to buy or pirate mirc there is a java version also but you probably already knew that.

hahahaa the other people wanting a chat! oh btw i found a deal on genetically modified anthrax that is antibiotic resistant and im working on the lead lined envelopes now so the irradiation that the mail goes thru now wont hurt my little babies. just remember when you get it open it in a room by yourself so there is no colateral dammage and take deep full breaths why delay the inevitable!








boy gotta love the vicodin i come up with some wierd stuffs when i got a good buzz going. these things dont help the pain much but they do make the head a little light! one of my customers asked today why i wouldnt take them at work and suffer all day i gave him one and by the end of the job he was way loopy and wanted more lol he was also glad i wasnt on them

Not having any chat is a bummer but, whats worse is things seem slow here lately for me. Logging onto the forum is slower, then I try to view a thread and its so slow sometimes it stops before the thead is loaded. I admit my dialup is about as fast as a VW van in a head wind but, my dialup is normal else where. Not a complaint, just an observation.

dude it has been slow for me as well and my cable runs at 14,700kb/s so its not just your dial up. i had to do a 1gb dl the other day and it only took about 45min if that and sometimes the pages just lock up on me as well. i miss the chat just for bsing not really putting info up there. i usually make posts about the important stuff just so it is there for other folks

I think the missing chat box has caused the whole site to slow down, visitor wise. Some of the people that were usually in chat have been MIA since its dissapearance. It brought them to the site and they would then post in the threads.

People want easy... that's the only way I get dates! rotfl But seriously, some minor tweaking would be cool, and (I think) helpful. The shoutbox was definitely a really cool feature and not one you see very often. It brought this site the "Unique" factor.... That's appealing.

One thing I find useful on many of the sites I frequent, is the command line on both the top and bottom of the page. I mentioned this once and I understand all about the "home" and "end" keys... but it's just a mouseclick convenience thing. When you read all the way down a page, you're already at the bottom. Why not have the menu right there when you're done? Seems too convenient not to mention.

It's a CPU usage issue. The chatbox puts too much load on the server and everybody suffers... so it is just not allowed with our current host.
