I tell you what I am frustrated by it not being there, and the site STILL getting slow.

Not to mention I've been thrown to the "Internet cannot find webpage" upon a refresh at least 3 times today and no shoutbox... I doubt THAT is the problem... It may complicate things, but it doesn't appear to be the root of all evil.....

its coming up fast for me but only after a couple of days being too slow. i tested my dsl speed last night and got 400kbps on download speed and 24kbps on upload. They should have been around 3000 and 500. I reset my modem and all is good now, well, all is better till the box is back, lol. thanks for all the hardwork on it everyone.

The main problem with the box chat box though is it is against the rules of our host. they do not allow any forum that allows real time chat unless it is their own software. So something has to communicate wtih the VB software we have.

That stinks.............. Hopefully, the hosts software will be compatible with the VB software.

The built-in software from the host (site5) isn't compatible out of the box with vBulletin. But one of them is Open Source, so I am going to see if I can't MAKE it compatible.
